I photograph people who don’t like being photographed. I love finding the essence of who you are and having the opportunity to capture you in the moment.

Hi I’m Sheridan.

Originally from New York, transplanted to Boston.

I have spent my lifetime loving, practicing, and working in the fields of art and photography. Years managing a photography studio in New York paved my way to working at the Museum of Fine Arts Boston, in the area of printed reproductions, to finally sharing my talent as a portrait photographer.

I have always loved photography. From early on, Avedon, Liebovitz, and Penn spoke to me. The common thread was people, I love people. I love making people smile and I enjoy bringing out the best in each and every person. My hope is that my portraits show you a side of you that you may not see, but others do.

Being photographed does not come naturally for most people. I try to share a relaxed environment, and ultimately create an experience that you will remember, love, and come back repeatedly for when you need new photos.
